\nThe Studio and Multi-Function Room of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC)
\nBangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) is holding the event of the year, ‘BACC Performance Festival # 1) from November 9, 2012 – November 30, 2012 at the Studio 4th Floor and Multi-Function 1st Floor, BACC (locating at Pathumwan Junction, opposite to MBK and Siam Discovery).
\nThis year is the first initial year for BACC, in collaboration with the network and organisations of performances, to put together this event, seeking the opportunity to display a board selection of performances, with efforts to encourage participants to have an idea of the creations of art that demonstrates creativity, innovation, and appreciation toward art of performance.
\nThis festival features a variety selection of performances, which best represents the ideals of the art in performance, for instance, performing art, mime, and contemporary dance. Morever, audiences are welcome to participate in workshop activities for performing art and dance, facilitates by talented artists passionate to share insight-information and exchange different viewpoints, knowledge, and ideas, in effort to make performances both a high-quality art experience and a board exposure to art.
\nThroughout November 2012, BACC will be performing arena of the finest talented artists’ creative work. Starting with ‘Expression Mime’ by Konnakhao Institution with two shows called ‘Swallowed Love’ and ‘The Motive of Rainfall’, a mime performance conducted mid-year, which left an immense impression with the audiences. Followed by ‘ASIATOPIA The International Performance Art Festival #14\/2012; RECONSTRUCT DECONSTRUCT’, one of important shows in Asia by a nutorious group of performance artists, Mr. Chumpon Apisuk and his friends.
\nThat’s not all, next is a finishing touch of ‘About Face’, groups of performers renowned an adaptation  of a novel with the same name by Dario Fo. Featuring 11 groups of Bangkok Theatre (Crescent Moon Theatre, 8 x 8 Theatre Group, SomMood, Moradokmai, ANATTA Theatre Troupe, Saosoong, New Theatre Society, B-Floor, Makhampom, Bangplay Learning Theatre Group, and Babymime) directed by Damkerng Thitapiyasak. After that, a contemporary solo-performance that portrays the improvisation and presence of mindfulness called ‘(Noting) Noting the Self’ by Ms. Tanatchaporn Kittikong. Then last but not least, a thrilling dance performances and seminars ‘International Dance Festival 2012’ by Friends of the Arts Foundation. <\/p>\n
