\nInternational Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) is the leading international eventdedicated to film and human rights. To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of HumanRights, the FIFDH, the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for HumanRights launched a film tour in 45 countries. Marking UDHR70, the Embassy of Switzerland in Thailand in partnership with the OHCHR Regional Office for South-East Asia will take the opportunity to show in Bangkok oneof the movies proposed by the FIFDH.<\/p>\n

The Swiss movie «Non-Assistance» is a documentary created by FrédéricChoffat and CarolineAbu’ Sada. The film shows the dangerous journey of many refugees and migrants to Europe that often forces themto cross the Mediterranean Sea. The movie captures various stories of people who are driven by their courage tofind a bit of humanity in this difficult and ongoing refugee crisis. A movie that gives voices to victims and also to the ones that assist them. The movie will be shown in original languages (French\/ English) and will have Thaisubtitles.<\/p>\n

Programme:
\nThe movie screening will be followed by a panel discussion among experts regarding migration andhuman rights.<\/p>\n

The evening will unfold as follows:<\/p>\n

\n6:20pm Opening remarks Swiss Ambassador and OHCHR
\n6:30pm Start Movie Screening (52min)
\n7:25pm Panel Discussion and Q&As
