\n“LOVE IS” the exhibition of the month of love, February. This exhibition of love considered to be the cooperation between 8 renowned new generation artists including Boonhlue Yangsauy, Tewaporn Maikongkeaw, Kittisak Thapkoa, Ratthaphoom Piwpantamit, Prawit Lumcharoen, Pat Yingcharoen, Phadungsak Kheawpong and the female artist Thunchanok Plakulsantikorn.<\/p>\n
Number1Gallery invented this exhibition in purpose to express the different stories of love between the artist’s perspective no matter it is tangible or intangible love. <\/p>\n
Boonhlue Yangsauy suggest a story of love that will have to go through obstacle and embrace lost before they became the great romantic love story to tell it throughout generations.<\/p>\n
Tewaporn Maikongkeaw’s story is the love that can happen to anyone and sometimes it will catch you off guard. However, the real challenge is to keep the love alive. Love is from the heart and nobody can force ones to love the other. True love is to hope the best for each other or to sacrifice. But sometimes love can be poisonous and it can change beautiful things to evil. The lost in love is not considered as real love.<\/p>\n
Kittisak Thapkoa express his love story in the Buddhism way of the journey to escape all the desires. At the end, all humans and animals will always crave for love. Love is desire, love is lust, love is envy, love is bond, love is greed, and love is mercy.<\/p>\n
\nThe love story of Ratthaphoom Piwpantamit is the energy that create a lot of good things but also can create chaos with is no different from hatred.<\/p>\n
The artwork of Prawit Lumcharoen is the continued story from the work “Sick Boy” The artist has picked up the character of a fat boy to express the perspective of love by using the simple symbols of love which are straight forward from the kid’s world to the adult’s world.<\/p>\n
The work of Pat Yingcharoen in this exhibition is not only express the stories of tangible love but also express the true story that happens in his real life.<\/p>\n
Phadungsak Kheawpong express his imagination in the imagine world between music and art that brings your mind into your inner self and the reminiscing of the past.<\/p>\n
Lastly, the love of Thunchanok Plakulsantikorn is the love where ones are taking care of each other.<\/p>\n
