\nSunny Side Up: a smellable performance<\/strong>
\nSupported by <\/strong>Performative Art Festival 8 (P.A.F.#8)<\/strong>
\nThe show was conceived from two women's life stories: a blind apprentice psychologist and an actress with bipolar disorder, created by Stang Puapongsakorn, a columnist and award-winning scriptwriter together with a scent designer ChalidaKunalai.<\/p>\n

“Sunny Side Up” tells a parallel of life stories of two young women: one has regular physical condition but a tortured mind, another is blind since birth who is now working as a therapist apprentice, helping other people. The story delves into their lives in the big city, their sunny days and gloomy days, where their simple wish is to live a normal life and hope that today’s mood will stay at zero not negative. That’s all they want.<\/p>\n

Pattareeya Puapongsakorn<\/strong> is the editor of The Cloud Magazine’s travel section. She has traveled the country, interviewing people of various professions. Her skills and experience through conversation then translated into writing and storytelling. Apart from writing travel articles, Pattareeya is also a playwright and winner of Best Original Script award from International Association of Theatre Critics Thailand (IATC) in 2015.<\/p>\n

Sarocha Kittisiripan<\/strong> is the author of ‘Until the Blind Child Grows Up’, which tells the life story of a visually impaired girl in the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. In this performance, Sarocha not only shared her story of breaking through the walls of her own fear, but also co-wrote the script for the piece. She is currently studying Master’s Degree in psychology, hoping to be a counselor for people with disabilities.<\/p>\n

Lola Worakulsanti<\/strong> is an actress with experience in theatre, advertisement and film. In this performance, she will be sharing her experience of her treatment for depression, which is still ongoing even today.<\/p>\n

Chalida Kunalai<\/strong> is a professional scent designer who has created scents for various products. She helped create the Scent Map of Bangkok, where people can get to know more about the city through smell. Chalida is also currently a member of The Nose Thailand – a collaborative project with art therapists – in designing scented colors, to change the belief that blind people cannot create visual art works.<\/p>\n

\nFunding Project<\/strong>
\nThe team also creates a funding project for the show. We hope to create a show that is approachable by everyone including people with disabilities. Be part and support this tasty show and get the perfume from ChalidaKunalai and a portrait from SarochaKittisiripan.<\/p>\n
