\nArtists: Thienchai Nogngam and Maitree Homthong<\/strong>
\n 
\nThe works of the two “Dharma Group” artists seem world’s apart, one being abstract and the other representational. Yet for all being most colourful, they both describe the dynamics of life, the organic and social nature of Dharma, moving in tandem but often in conflict.
\nThienchai Nogngam’s works reflect life’s experience: the countryside and the urban set-ups, and how they are shaped by social and political forces, to reveal inequality and conflict. Maitree’s canvases seem pure abstracts, yet there appear structures: frames and parametres, circles, lines with conflicting angles, dappled spots as if they were living creatures in areas of colours, bright or dimly lit.

\nThienchai Nogngam<\/em><\/p>\n

Thienchai’s works are windows into his own mind as he reflects on life’s experience – the countryside and the urban set up and how they are shaped by social and political forces, to reveal perhaps inequality and conflict. The works, with their brightly lit hues and challenging imageries, are of mysteries to be discovered.

\nMaitree Homthong<\/em><\/p>\n

Maitree’s canvases seem pure abstracts, yet there appear structures: frames and parametres, circles, lines with conflicting angles, dappled spots as if they were living creatures inhibiting upon areas of colours.
\n 
\nBoth the artists’ works, one representational and the other abstract, are visually different yet both describing the dynamics of life, of Dharma and its organic and social nature, all moving in tandem but often in conflict.<\/p>\n
