{"id":61431,"date":"2022-09-20T04:58:26","date_gmt":"2022-09-20T04:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bacc:8890\/events\/the-contemporary-worldview-in-isaan-folk-tales\/"},"modified":"2024-01-30T14:24:23","modified_gmt":"2024-01-30T14:24:23","slug":"the-contemporary-worldview-in-isaan-folk-tales","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.bacc.or.th\/en\/events\/61431","title":{"rendered":"The Contemporary Worldview in Isaan Folk Tales"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>by Sakorn Wongratchasi<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>\nThe artworks were created to portray the story of&nbsp;11&nbsp;Isaan folk tales which are Phu Sangkasa &ndash; Ya Sangkasi, Thao Phadangnagai, Phraya Khankag, Khulunangaua, Thao Gumgadum, Nang Hma Khaw, Nang Phom Hom, Gongkhanwnoi Kha Mea, Thao Kumpra Pheenoi, Jumpa Si Thon, and Sithon &ndash; Manorah. The information may not be perfectly presented because part of it came from targets&rsquo; memory&nbsp;refer to an ongoing story and at the same time fading away&nbsp;.The artworks also project past, present, and future of this world events that related to the cycle of birth, remain, and disappear.<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned previously, ideas, belief, and imagination are showed through such fragile and ephemeral form of art that indicated to its core idea. The meaning occurred by collaging those fragments to create an incomplete story, yet, build to the new context.
