\nLife-(less) \/ Noise-(less): Exploring the Individuality Amid the Mundane <\/div>\n
Welcome to "Life-(less) \/ Noise-(less)," a black-and-white journey into the beauty of individuality of the trees that grace the landscape of Salaya, Thailand. In this exhibition, I invite you to explore the dichotomy of life and absence, of noise and silence, as captured through the lens of monochrome photography. Each photograph tells a story about each tree's individuation, reecting and highlighting the existence of individualism amid the mundane. <\/div>\n
In a world often overshadowed by uniformity, these photographs aim to enunciate the unique character and presence of each tree, capturing moments of quiet introspection amidst the bustling landscape of Salaya. The absence of color draws us to inspect the subtle nuances and intricate details that distinguish one tree from another, revealing the essence of their individuality. As you wander through this gallery of 1:1 monochromic pieces, take a moment to contemplate the dichotomy of life and absence, uniqueness and uniformity that permeates each image. <\/div>\n

About Artist <\/strong><\/div>\n
Poomrapee Japakasetr graduated with a degree in composition and theory at the College of Music, Mahidol University. He is a member of the Triphen Ensemble, a contemporary music group founded in 2023, by composition students and faculties from the College of Music at Mahidol University. The ensemble consists of both current students and alumni from Mahidol University, Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, and Chulalongkorn University. Our objective is to showcase contemporary compositions by young Thai-based composers, with a focus on pieces created by students. Their performances include concerts at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center, concerts at the Thailand International Composition Festival 2023 (Mahidol University), and at the Goethe-Institut Thailand in 2023.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
