“The course of true love never did run smooth!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When four life-long friends, Helena, Hermia, Lysander, and Demetrius – find themselves in a heart-bind, they disappear into the nearby forest in the middle of the night, hoping to escape their miserable realities. Unluckily for them, these woods are home to mischievous fairy spirits, whose two queens – Titania and Oberon – are locked in yet\u00a0another\u00a0fierce fight between them. After Titania has broken some\u00a0more\u00a0marital rules, Oberon recruits her unreliable red right hand: the notoriously misbehaving Puck. There is nothing Puck loves more than a good story – and he intends to make this a night to remember; sparing no heartache, or headache.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bangkok Shakespeare Troupe is the very first, and the only, Shakespearean acting troupe in Thailand. Artist-led and directed, the Troupe prides itself on creating an accessible and immersive theatrical environment combined with artwork and visuals constructed with an artists\u2019 touch. Comprised of an all-Thai cast of actors, artists, and crew – we proudly present our very first production: \u2018A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream\u2019 (2024),\u00a0entirely in Thai.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
