“Hello, my name is Jeud, and I’m an artist… or perhaps an artist who is about to quit, or maybe never really was one in the first place. I contemplate the state of this world, a world driven by capitalism that significantly impacts the lives of artists and ordinary people struggling to survive in the present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One day, I arrived at an answer that might sound harsh, but it reflects the reality I face: “Art, for a poor man like me, is death.” Shocking, isn’t it? But the word “death” here doesn’t mean dying. Instead, it might be a “betrayal” of… something that is viewed through the eyes of what we call “judgment and righteous conclusion.” It’s about the endless change in the “world” we inhabit. The “world” (Earth), a mere object driven by predetermined “time.” Even during the time we are born, grow, and until the last moments of our lives, we all seek “happiness.” But in a world full of competition and isolation, happiness is elusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Someone told me about the meaning of “happiness.” They replied, “In this world, life is not called happiness. What is called ‘happiness’ is something special. But for me, happiness, in the Thai sense, is probably achieving something. Therefore, my happiness does not really exist.” This answer reinforces my feeling that true happiness may just be an illusion in a world full of uncertainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our world may simply be “a temporary existence with no known end,” or spinning with the “Wheel of Fortune,” rather than being filled only with consoling thoughts ready to be composed of happiness. Because suffering is a part of life that we cannot eliminate. If you cut out suffering, human life would not be complete.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
