{"id":89286,"date":"2025-11-15T15:24:05","date_gmt":"2025-11-15T08:24:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bacc.or.th\/?post_type=event&#038;p=89286"},"modified":"2025-11-15T16:54:05","modified_gmt":"2025-11-15T09:54:05","slug":"galleries-nights-2025","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.bacc.or.th\/en\/events\/89286","title":{"rendered":"Galleries\u2019 Nights 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Embassy of France in Thailand<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This 12th edition continues to foster Franco-Thai cultural exchange and friendship.<br>The event will showcase more than 200 artists across over 80 galleries in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, from 14\u201315 November in Chiang Mai and 21\u201322 November 2025 in Bangkok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A bit of history<br>Created in 2013 by the Embassy of France in Thailand, Galleries\u2019 Nights was inspired by Paris\u2019s famous \u201cNuit Blanche\u201d. The event transforms the city into an open-air art experience, accessible to all audiences.<br>Nowadays Galleries\u2019 Nights has become one of Thailand\u2019s major artistic events, supported by both the public and private sectors. The 2024 edition attracted more than 30,000 visitors across 100 galleries.<br>The project\u2019s goal remains unchanged: to make art accessible to everyone, regardless of age or background. It highlights art\u2019s power as a source of inspiration, a means of social reflection, and a bridge between cultures.<br>Looking ahead, the Embassy of France in Thailand aims to expand the event to other regions of the country, anchoring contemporary art within a framework of sustainable cultural development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A renewed ambition<br>The 2025 edition will reflect the dialogue between Thailand\u2019s cultural heritage and contemporary creation. It will also honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, for her lifelong dedication to promoting traditional craftsmanship and supporting local artists.<br>The event will also mark the 340th anniversary of Franco-Thai diplomatic relations, a milestone celebrating the long-standing friendship between the two nations.<br>In 2025, the program will highlight gender equality in the arts, with the support of the French organization AWARE (Archives of Women Artists, Research &amp; Exhibitions).
