Green Sun: (the project including one film, and series of drawings and photographs)
The investigations of the project mostly focus on the public squares in the city centers of both Bangkok and Guangzhou, as well as a heavy metal mine and rural village situated in a mountainous valley in southern China. Bathed in the color spectrum, people in the square are stained by blue rays refracted from nowhere; camping tents mass on the anonymous streets, the cadmium-orange surface of an acidic lake… – all with a sense of “epidermal touch”. Limbs grow and penetrate through the public squares, the skin attaching to the earth’s crust like flesh to bone – he twisted himself against the backdrop of reality; his hair and skin, just as vivid and lively as they could be. - Scope and content
