ChuanLeekpai was born on 28th July1938 in Muang District, Trang Province. He graduated from the Painting and Sculpture Department, Silpa Suksa School (now Chang Silp College), before going on to study law at Thammasat University in 1962. He was Thailand’s Prime Minister in the years 1992–95 and1997–2001). Presently he is the Democrat Party’s Chief Advisor, and has time to pursue his sketching activity.
Chakrabhand Posayakrit
Chakrabhand Posayakrit was born on 16th August 1943 in Bangkok. He completed his primary and secondary education at Vajiravudh College, then went on to study at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture, Silpakorn University, graduating in 1968. Chakrabhand Posayakrit was honoured with the title of National Artist in Visual Arts (Painting) in 2000. Currently, at his house on Ekamai Road, he has established a foundation in his name, which operates as a museum, office, workshop and puppet theatre.
Nithi Sthapitanonda
Nithi Sthapitanonda was born on 7th July 1947 in Bangkok. He studied at Vajiravudh College before he went on to complete his Bachelor Degree from the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University and Master Degree from University of Illinois USA in 1973. Nithi was named National Artist in 2002 in the field of Contemporary Architecture by the Ministry of Culture. He is founder of the leading architectural firm, Architects 49. Nithi retired in 2012 and has been spending time writing and drawing. - Archival History
