There will be arts and crafts exhibits from the art schools of Silpakorn, Ladkrabang, Bandit-Pattanasilp, as well as from the Mae Fa Luang Foundation and Bangsai Arts and Crafts Centre.
The Rama IX.org Foundation will set up its virtual museum, mini-theatres from the National Film Archive, Thai Film Foundation and Dream Box.
There will be literary-orientated book-shops, children’s books and sections for indie comics and handmade publications. The BSO, the BangkoK Opera and the Harp Centre will also be present.
Two artists material companies will support art demonstration activities, and as well, all units will get in on the act of presenting art and performing activities in order to introduce the public to the cultural works that they do. Performance events of the Art-rium@BACC will take place in the Centre’s first floor atrium space, or in any other attractive common areas throughout the building.
The whole atmosphere should be festive, convivial and fun as there will be artists across the cultural disciplines and networks meeting and helping to create this mini-cultural scene for Bangkok. For those looking for something to remember the event by, there will be on sale art postcards, t-shirts, art magazines, catalogues, posters, cd and dvd of past musical productions and plays, etc.
