Arts Network Exhibitions

SPICE UP. GINGER UP.

Organized by : Ruamrudee International School

This exhibition is a collaboration of works done by students in IB Visual Art from Ruamrudee International School. THE International Baccalaureate (IB) is an international course consists of 2 years of studies. Students will develop their own style through observation and analysis of different study topics such as society issues, historical events, and human nature. Each work displays a perspective of an artist of the studied topic. Each student will develop a theme of their own and each work represents a perspective of their theme.

The title of the exhibition is an altered version of the phase “To The Chilli, To The Ginger” which comes from the Thai proverb “Teung-Prik-Teung-King” which means the extreme. The meaning represents the commitment of students who created the exhibition consists of their works. Similar to their grand final celebration that they journeyed and studied their art through the course together. Then lastly, they would like the people to appreciate their investment and efforts through their art.
