Tha Sa Thorn’s Voice: Children Art Exhibition for Community Learning

Tha Sa Thorn’s Voice: The Exhibition about Tha Sa Thon small school’s student in Umpur Chauad, NakhonsriThummart in which were opened again by community force after were closed 2 years in 2007. Due to the financial burden from sending their children to school from far away home and concerned the safety about sending their children to city. Also deeper issue’s lost their School Community which’s full of love and togetherness.   


 

To open school again were conditioned by Government, Education Department law claimed. However those weren’t stopped their courage  to work together reversing the school back in their hands. They developed local wisdom curriculum, teaching method, budget, hired the least teachers from outside. Since then 3 years, they have been claimed their right to self community education. Encountering  with inequality of Government education welfare and service, couldn’t stopped them to reclaim and manage learning for their children in community.

This Art Exhibition, they invited artists to organize workshops with children and villagers. And here are their art of works and lives!
