Raffles T-shirt Design Contest 2011
Organized by Raffles International College
Because T-Shirt can present a story or message of what we want to say and show how much we care about our country and our world, Raffles International College launched the T-Shirt Design Contest to encourage high school students who are studying in Grade 10-13 or equivalent (age between 15-18 years) to express their concerns by designing an original T-shirt print using a social and global awareness theme.
The result was announced in February 2012. The winner is Mr. Thanatseth Howattanapan from KIS International School under the concept “Economic Heated Inequality Cash”, the runner up is Ms. Tzu Wen Chiang from “Thai Chinese International School” under a concept "The World Is Insane" and the three consolation prizes are, Ms. Wanvipa Krairavee from Benjamarachalai School under a concept "The world can hold no much longer", Mr. Wongchayud Maholankij from Saint Dominic School under a concept “Smoking Is Really the Silent Killer” and Ms. Napat Thongluksanawong from Wattana Wittayalai under a concept "Traffic Matter”.
The winner received a scholarship worth 940,000 Baht for Bachelor’s Degree studies at Raffles International College and an iPad2. The runner up prize consisted of a scholarship worth 940,000 Baht for Bachelor’s Degree studies at Raffles International College and an iPod. Three consolation prizes received a scholarship worth 30,000-60,000 baht to study at Raffles International College and a gift voucher valued at 1,000 baht.
