BMS Concert notes

The Bangkok Music Society presents a choral concert at the BACC. The programme is designed to celebrate Easter. The main piece of music is the Stabat Mater by Pergolesi, the Italian composer of the 18th Century. The piece is a set of poems depicting the mourning of the Virgin Mary at the cross where Jesus was crucified. The other pieces in the programme include choral sacred music by Mozart, Stainer and Andrew Lloyd Webber, among others.
