Art lovers in Bangkok have a unique chance to enjoy Finnish contemporary art as of 12 January 2013. Exhibition takes place at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).

 

Artits Maija Albrecht, Kalle Berg, Matti Hintikka, Valpuri Kylmänen, Kuutti Lavonen, Tapani Mikkonen, Kaisu Sirviö and Miikka Vaskola showcase their latest works. All the artists use the same lithography workshop Helsinki Litho. They make their art independently, drawing on the traditions and potentials of the lithography technique. The exhibition also reflects the high, autonomous status of printmaking in contemporary art in Finland.

 

Contemporary Lithography fom Finland -exhibition is open for public 12 January – 3 February 2013 in the 3. and 4. floors of BACC. Address of BACC is 939 Rama 1 road, Pathumwan. Centre is easily reached from National Stadium BTS station.
