Insight into artworks and what’s next: Curators in conversation with THAITAI artists

For THAITAI curatorial team, we intended to introduce artists who have been dedicated to art practice and developed their uniqueness in art. In this talk, we will discuss in-depth about artworks on show in the context of artists’ statement, concepts and art production.

 

While the project will be continued with the session of the Thai artists visiting and joining

residency/on-site research program in Taipei, 2013, we will review cases of both Taiwan and Thai art communities and groups by comparing artists’ working condition of the two countries and how they respond to their own environment and connect to each other. This will be a forum for further extension and accumulate the discourses starting from the THAITAI exhibition. The invited Thai artists will respec?tively share their viewpoint on the future exploration and development for the project.
