Photographic exhibition titled “Tadu Tamil Nadu” by a group of  5 photography lecturers: Chaivudh Buthdong, Pongsak Tangtiwaja, Pichak Thananchaibut, Kittichai Kasemsarn and Urasha Jakkachaphol aims to represent pictures from traveling to southern India reflecting integrated cultures of Asia via photographs. This project sets location in Tamil Nadu state, the southern India, and selects Chennai and Pondicherry cities to illustrate stories.

If thought of India, tourists may think about popular attractions such as Taj Mahal or the Four Holy Places of Buddhism. Few people will think of southern India, especially in Tamil Nadu state using official language as Tamil. In Thai,  'Tamil' means unfriendly, deadly and dangerous. As a consequence, this makes the image of  Tamil looked frightful. However, the fact that lecturers discover is that Tamil Nadu is full of friendly smiles and assistances of people throughout our routes and colorful architecture as alive museum. Moreover, manifestations of its ancient culture are everywhere, from vast temples, beautifully detailed rock carving and a wide variety of delicious food  for the vegetarians. Lastly, Tamil Nadu is a plethora of culture and modern civilization woven together which attracts photographers from the entire world.
