The talk focuses on Burma and its emerging medium of expression – filmmaking.  Three Burmese short films will be screened; each with different reflections on previously unknown Burmese culture, art, gender and sexuality issues, followed by discussion with Dr. Amporn Jirattikorn, an anthropologist working on film and media in Myanmar.
