Various events: 12-19 May 2015
Main event: 17 May 2015
Main event: 17 May 2015
The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT) is on Sunday 17 May.
The centerpiece for IDAHOT 2015 commemorations in Thailand will be the lighting up of the façade of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre in rainbow-coloured lights from 12 to 19 May. We invite you to join us in the forecourt of the BACC on IDAHOT day itself, Sunday 17 May, as well as attend any of the special events being held within the BACC all week. These include film screenings, discussions and other activities that explore issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people, and in particular, LGBTI youth in Thailand.
IDAHOT Thailand is a joint initiative by over 20 UN agencies, development and Thai civil society organisations, commercial partners and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. Find out more at www.idahotthailand.org See you there!
