“Rice Terraces in the Greater Mekong Subregion”

The photo exhibition “Rice Terraces in the Greater Mekong Subregion” by  Italian photographer Giuseppe Di Mauro shows the natural production cycle of rice.
More specifically, the exhibited photos will showcase six moments, namely when the rice fields are flooded for preparation, moments of sowing, the green paddies phase of growing plantation, the yellow paddies phase of rice maturation, the harvest moments and finally the drying methods. Besides, the photos will highlight the types of land destined for paddies, both flat and mountainous.
