Exhibition “Resilience and Uncertainty: Mekong Migrant Workers Amid the Pandemic Downturn”
By Mekong Migration Network in collaboration with SEA Junction
The exhibition "Resilience and Uncertainty: Mekong Migrant Workers Amid the Pandemic Downturn," organised by Mekong Migration Network (MMN) in collaboration with SEA Junction, displays photos taken by documentary photographer John Hulme at Phang Nga, Ranong, Chiang Mai, Mae Sot and Phop Phra districts of Tak province, and. Accompanied by descriptions as told by the migrants themselves, these images portray the lives of migrant workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The exhibition serves not only to build empathy by enabling the general public to look through the lens of another but also illustrate how complex systems, whether in relation to migration policies or social protection policies, can impact migrants’ lives.
