The artist expressed the feeling through her art pieces that inspired by the relationship of Esan’s basketwork, the beautiful historical craftmanship in the local, to create mixed-media 3-dimensional and 2-dimensional artworks. The artist uses bamboo as an organic material that found in the local with Esan’s craftmanship such as the process of binding the rope combine with bamboo weaving to create the abstract forms from the impression of the weaving products that have been used in many houses. It reflects the living life of the locals that have to adapted through time but bamboo basketwork still a part of the local’s life which shows the folk wisdom in each area.
