City Escape: A celestial journey

The natural environment has always been a source of happiness and peace for human mind. A journey to countryside and rural places is a desire by most urbanites to escape from stress and anxiety caused by chaotic city living. While most of us still need to live and work in the city, we can still appreciate natural environments interspersed throughout metropolitan areas such as public parks, small corner gardens, or just simply look up at the sky, we can find the beauty of nature.
City Escape: A Celestial Journey exhibition offers an opportunity to escape from day-to-day worries into delightful distractions. The interwoven of realistic and abstract paintings in the exhibition convey the feeling of escaping the urban chaos to engage the beauty of nature both by traveling to actual natural locations in different regions of Thailand and other parts of the world, and by taking an imaginary trip to experience it with the mind even while we are still living in the city.
The exhibition showcases 40 paintings in oil, acrylic, pastel watercolour and gouache.
