Over two years since the Myanmar military coup, more than 2 million people have been displaced, now living in IDP camps, in the forest, or on borders with neighboring countries. Unable to return home, unable to move forward and build new lives. They are stuck in-between.
The works of each artist convey changing emotions, memories, and styles. Still on the way to be the "artists" that they are yet to become, as artists they are also in-between…
This exhibition presents the work of a group of anonymous Myanmar artists to raise funds for humanitarian support. the artists have pledged to donate 60% of proceeds to humanitarian causes for IDPs in Myanmar, in an act of solidarity.
