Pride Families:

“What is family? Who gets to define it?”

This “Pride Families” exhibition thus showcases 7 LGBTQ+ artists who proudly present stories of their families, both constructed biologically and socially. The exhibiting works are diverse in media: from painting, photography to sculpture and installation. Each piece represents each artist’s definition of their “family” which goes beyond the limit of gender. With various notions of love, acceptance, traumas, legacy, embracing, and care, these artists invite the viewers to expand their perceptions of such institution like never before.
