Exhibition Workshop  – “the MACHT series workshop”

The workshop gives an introduction to the MACHT series that is currently part of the exhibition “Photography Never Lies” at BACC, covering its artistic concept and the technical details behind the image creation process. A demonstration involving the attendees will show how to create an image in the style of the MACHT series step-by-step. Participants will then create their own images based on this demonstration, with guidance from Patrik Budenz and Birte Zellentin. The session combines artistic theory with practical, hands-on experience. Attendees will gain both an understanding of the MACHT series and create a personal piece of art.”

“Dieser Workshop führt in das künstlerische Konzept sowie die technischen Prozesse der Serie MACHT ein, die aktuell als Teil der Ausstellung “Photography Never Lies” im BACC zu sehen ist. Eine Schritt-für-Schritt-Demonstration unter Mitwirkung der Teilnehmenden verdeutlicht, wie ein Bild im Stil dieser Serie entsteht. Im Anschluss erstellen die Teilnehmenden auf Basis dieses Wissens und unterstützt von Patrik Budenz und Birte Zellentin ihre eigenen Werke. Der Workshop kombiniert dabei künstlerische Theorie mit praktischer Anwendung, wobei die Teilnehmenden nicht nur ein tieferes Verständnis für die Serie MACHT gewinnen können, sondern auch ein persönliches Kunstwerk erschaffen.”

The event is divided into two sessions:
Lecture Session: 13:30 – 14:15 (No registration required) 
Workshop Session: 14:30 – 17:00 (Limited to 20 participants)

Conditions and Equipment Required for Workshop Participants:
– Basic proficiency in Photoshop program.
– Computer notebook or tablet with Photoshop installed.
– 10 digital portrait photos of yourself, friends, acquaintances, or family members.
