Bangkok Art and Culture Centre invites interested individuals aged 11-15 years to expand their knowledge from the content of the exhibition “Photography Never Lies” in the activity “Kid’s Calendar 2024: Collecting The Art Words X Photography Never Lies” in August. The theme is “Fiction, Composition, and Diorama”. In this activity, children and youth will learn techniques to manage the relationship between scenes and characters in creating photographic art, combined with skills in crafting paper dollhouses and storytelling. This will be guided by the creative processes of artists from the “Photography Never Lies” exhibition, Pumipat Usapratumban (Ten), the creator of “Myth of the Tropical Jungle, 2019.”
Participants will gain an understanding of the broader possibilities of photographic work, expand their perspectives on contemporary art, and develop essential skills for future learning, such as creative thinking, confidence, and concentration skills.
