นิทรรศการแสดงผลงานประกวดวาดภาพ I AM ORIGINAL ครั้งที่ 5 Glow Your Way เส้นทางสู่โลกกว้าง

PIGMA I AM ORIGINAL is a bi-annual drawing competition using PIGMA products, initiated by Sakura Products (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The 60 works displayed are from the winners and finalists of the 5th edition of I AM ORIGINAL project under the concept “Glow Your Way.” These 60 pieces are a compilation of works from three categories: Comic, Illustration, and Creative Drawing, at both high school and university levels. They showcase a blend of artistic skills, including storytelling through distinctive line work, interesting presentation styles, and concepts that effectively reflect originality or personal style.

This year’s competition received an overwhelming response with over 1,000 entries, despite the digital art trend and technological advancements in art creation. It highlights the fact that many young artists still have a strong desire to express their creativity through original hand-drawn works. Importantly, it also provides opportunities for further development, whether collaborating with artists, various brands, or building portfolios for university applications or future careers.

All submitted works were judged by a panel of established artists from various fields, including Sa-ard (cartoonist), Toey-Suthipa Kamyam (illustrator), Toom Visualizer (storyboard artist), Hong-Tae (artist), and Apicha Panya-arj-ong (Managing Director of Sakura Products (Thailand)). The final selection event was held at the Anchapanya Art & Co-Living Space at Sakura Products (Thailand) Co., Ltd. on September 7, 2024.
