The photography exhibition explores Bangkok’s captivating nightlife through the perspectives of the city’s Emergency Medical Services, the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, and the Central Institute of Forensic Science. The artist uses documentary-style techniques to capture striking moments after dark, revealing an unseen side of the city.
About artist
R. Scott Davis is from Brooklyn New York where he received his MFA in photography from the Pratt Institute. He is now based in Bangkok Thailand, the hub of S.E. Asia, and has worked extensively on projects in Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Indonesia.
In addition to his own work as a photographer he has applied his knowledge of photography and aesthetics from his studies in New York as a university lecturer in his classrooms in SE Asia at Sripatum University, Stamford International, the Alliance Francaise and Bangkok University International.
