Kid’s Calendar 2024 : Collecting The Art Words X BAB2024 A Verse for Nights by Dusadee Huntrakul

Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, in collaboration with Bangkok Art Biennale Foundation, invites children and families to enjoy a hands-on clay sculpting activity. Participants will learn sculpture-making techniques using ceramic clay while expanding their knowledge and understanding through the Bangkok Art Biennale 2024 – Nurture Gaia exhibition under the activity named the Kid’s Calendar 2024: Collecting The Art Words X BAB2024, in the topic A Verse for Nights by Dusadee Huntrakul.
This activity aims to create joyful moments for children and families as they reinterpret the goddess ‘Gaia’ and craft their own Gaia sculptures. It uses art as a medium for learning to develop essential skills that enhance both physical and mental growth while fostering awareness of environmental values and the cohabitation of humans and nature.
The event features artist Dusadee Huntrakul (Pang) from Bangkok Art Biennale 2024, his artwork is called ‘A Verse for Nights (2024)’ currently exhibited at the National Museum Bangkok. Dusadee will be joined by his son, Prinn Seeumpornroj Huntrakul, to provide insights and guide participants through creative techniques throughout the activity.
