Photo Exhibition 7.7 MMERQK; Capturing Myanmar’s Unheeded Cry

The exhibition consists of a series of photographs highlighting the devastating impacts of the recent earthquake in Myanmar has on the lives of Myanmar citizens as well as people in the surrounding areas. These photographs were taken by an organized group of independent photographers under the name Platform 36, with cooperation from the Bangkok Tribune, a Thailand-based independent news organization along with the support from SEA Junction. The series will include pictures of the aftermath and of people trying to recover from the shocks and aftershocks, urging the global community to take action and provide necessary supports to impacted communities.
