The Chapter -1: Creative Learning Program for Youth Open call for Applications l Learning Creator

Organised by Bangkok Art and Culture Centre

“We believe in the power of learning together and collectively about art, within art, and through art.”

The Education Department of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre has initiated the Art Learning Laboratory (bacc learning lab) project to lay the foundation for an ecosystem of contemporary art learning. This initiative supports out-of-classroom education and lifelong learning for audiences of all ages, fostering a learning atmosphere for both learning creators and learners. It offers an experimental space and platform for developing creativity and shared experiences, aiming to build skills and tools that lead to new learning approaches which can be further developed in Thailand’s art and education sectors.

The Chapter -1: Creative Learning Program for Youth, This program is the pilot project of the bacc learning lab. It aims to identify collaborators who seek to initiate alternative learning innovations. The program invites passionate and bold learning creators to propose projects and innovative approaches to explore diverse contemporary social and cultural issues. These projects should integrate contemporary art with other disciplines, addressing the needs of youth audiences, learners, and participants.

* Learning Creator refers to individuals who design and develop learning processes tailored to the needs of learners, viewers, or participants. They creatively invent methods aligned with knowledge transfer and experience-building, through diverse formats of learning activities. This involves impact assessment and collaboration with participants to ensure continuous development of the learning experience and methodology.
