Emotions of Bangkok
By Rei Hayase
The exhibition “Emotions of Bangkok” reflects the moments of feelings, nostalgia, and emotions towards Bangkok, conveyed through the perspective of travel and exploration—depicting buildings, streets, and the serene atmosphere that represents another side of this vibrant city. These are expressed through the ancient Japanese technique of Nihonga (日本画), a style of painting that uses mineral pigments combined with other organic pigments on paper.
