By Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD); Disabled Peoples’ International Korea (DPI KOREA); Lucie Foundation

This is an exhibition of photographs taken by special class students. Mainly children and adolescents with intellectual development or autism. It’s the 4th Korea-Asia Pacific Disability Arts and Cultural [D-EUM] Festival

The exhibition aims :

  • to improve social awareness of artists and activities with intellectual and developmental disabilities by fostering mutual understanding of the cultural and artistic environments in Korea and the Asia-Pacific region, and by sharing relevant achievements;
  • to promote friendship between Korea and the Asia-Pacific disability community, and to establish a system for recognizing and distributing works of disability art through international cooperation and solidarity activities.
  • to expand and activate international cultural exchanges led by persons with disabilities, as key members of socially disadvantaged groups in Korea and the Asia-Pacific, in order to realize an inclusive society.     This exhibition will be first shown in Bangkok, then in Seoul during 7-9 November 2025, accompanied by related seminars. We would also like to invite not only the event organizers but also the BACC representatives who have supported us to Seoul, in order to hold a seminar on disability culture and arts in both Seoul and Bangkok.
