For the first time, the 7th Bangkok Art Book Fair (BKKABF25) will be held at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre. This year, the fair returns with the theme “You Can Sit With Us”, highlighting the idea that art books and independent publications are not merely printed media—they are spaces and tools that connect people.

The fair invites everyone to participate, question, share perspectives, and engage in contemporary artistic dialogues through diverse forms of printed matter. The phrase “You Can Sit With Us” serves as an open invitation for artists, designers, independent publishers, thinkers, students, readers, researchers, and the wider public to come together at the same table and be part of a shared cultural conversation.

Guest Curator: Belle Phromchanya 

This year, we are honored to welcome Belle Phromchanya  as Guest Curator. Belle is an artist, designer, and cultural practitioner based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Her work spans film, spatial installation, print media, and curatorial projects.

She is the co-founder of NON NATIVE NATIVE, a cultural platform that focuses on narratives of Asian diasporic communities in Europe. The platform emphasizes the potential of in-betweenness, the negotiation between the roles of “insider” and “outsider,” and the creation of spaces where individuals can appear, present, and express multiple identities freely.

This year’s edition brings together publishers, artists, designers, printing platforms, and creative networks from across regions, providing a shared ground for conversations and exchanges on art, culture, communication, memory, and community—through printed works ranging from handmade publications to contemporary design editions.

Open Ground
Series of 25 activities initiated by our exhibitors — featuring mini talks, book launches, reading groups, and workshops open to public. At Friends of bacc room, 6th Floor

Symposium
2 discussions with experts, artists, and designers focusing on current movements, challenges, and practices in the world of publishing. At Multi-Function Room, 1st Floor
