Exhibition
YOUNIQUE
By VERSO International School
YOUNIQUE is a celebration of individuality, creativity, and the power of design to shape identity, spark innovation, and inspire meaningful change. This exhibition showcases five learner driven projects across fashion, cosmetics, aviation, and digital travel, highlighting how young creators use design as a tool for self-expression, empowerment, and thoughtful problem solving.
The exhibition features “Net Nostalgia” by Kannchaya (Jemma) Chungwatana, a womens tennis fashion line that blends retro aesthetics with modern performance and confidence. “Bisous” by Elina Fong presents a sustainable cosmetic brand that reimagines eco friendly packaging. “Screen to Street” by Chatchanok (Milky) Chanchiao is a film inspired fashion lookbook exploring how cinema shapes youth identity and cultural representation. “Flight or Flight” by Aekanat (Aki) Bandapraneat documents the step by step process of designing and prototyping an aircraft, showing how accessible innovation can support a more sustainable future. Finally, “SOLOSEARCH” by Solo Meltzer introduces a personalized digital travel guide to Bangkok that supports and inspires independent exploration.
These works reflect the creativity, curiosity, and independence fostered at VERSO International School, a project based learning environment where students develop future ready skills through meaningful, real world challenges. Learning at VERSO is driven by inquiry, iteration, and authentic experiences that encourage learners to think deeply and act creatively.
At the center of this approach is VERTEX, the culminating experience of a VERSO high school education. VERTEX is a year long Grade 12 project in which learners pursue a personally meaningful area of study while applying skills in research, critical thinking, design, project management, and communication. It serves as a capstone to their Upper Loop journey, demonstrating their ability to work independently and equipping them with transferable skills for higher education and future careers.
The exhibition also includes work from MADLab in Grade 9 and AP Studio Arts in Grades 11 and 12, showcasing the range of artistic talent across our learning community.
Together, YOUNIQUE and its featured works invite visitors to explore how design in fashion, cosmetics, aviation, and digital media expresses who we are, what we value, and the future we hope to create.
