Program Supporter: Park Hyatt Bangkok
The Education Department of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre invites children aged 9–15 and their caregivers to join “Play+Draw: Rangsan’s Moonshine Playhouse,” a creative programme that brings families together to explore storytelling through play, imagination, and shared experience.
The programme is inspired by “Rangsan’s Moonshine Playhouse,” developed through a dialogue with Rangsan’s Mobile Bar by Chatchai Puipia. Led by guest artist Thanawat Numcharoen, whose work is presented in the exhibition “Catch the Moon | Chatchai Puipia | The Caught Years,” the programme introduces a new narrative that reconnects the mobile bar’s past and invites participants on an imagined journey toward the moon.
Participants will explore the exhibition, listen to stories developed by the artist, and take part in hands-on activities to create their own characters and narratives. The programme is led by Thanawat Numcharoen, together with Theerapong Ngoenthom, founder of the PLAY + FLOW project, and Unchalee Anantawat, artist, co-founder of Speedy Grandma, and lecturer at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi.
