The exhibition paints a landscape through different Thai mythologies represented in each artist’s works while addressing the destruction of nature in various aspects. Spirits are commonly intertwined with nature in many beliefs in Thailand and Southeast Asia; many are feared and worshipped, serving as a tactic to maintain balance in the relationship between humans and nature. However, these beliefs are losing their influence nowadays due to modernization, industrialization, and cosmopolitanism.
