By: Bangkok Art and Culture Centre in partnership with 129 Art Museum and The Art Auction Center
Time: 14:00 – 18:00 hrs.

Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) invites you to take part in “Homecoming of the Owl,” marking the return to Thailand of The Maha-Ummagga Jataka, a significant work by Thawan Duchanee, presented alongside a special public discussion held on the occasion of this exhibition.

This discussion offers a rare opportunity to explore the journey of this important artwork through the perspectives of those who personally met and worked closely with Thawan Duchanee, including the collaborators behind the publication ‘The Buddhist art of Tawan Datchani’. The speakers will share insights into the relationship between the artist and the publishing house, the creative process behind the artwork, and the making of the book that captures the value and spirit of this remarkable work.
