Learning Creator Lab #2: Creative Learning Program is organised by the Education Department, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre as an experimental platform for designing learning processes, activities, and conceptual development. The program aims to lay the foundation for an open and inclusive ecosystem of contemporary art learning that encourages participation from diverse audiences, while also supporting the development of learning processes beyond the classroom, connecting contemporary art with the lived experiences of audiences.
This year, Learning Creator Lab #2 continues from its inaugural edition last year, with a focus on developing learning programs and exploring new approaches to understanding contemporary social and cultural issues through the integration of contemporary art and multidisciplinary practices. The program particularly addresses “family audiences” as an important site of intergenerational learning among children, youth, parents, and older adults. Participating creators are invited to design shared learning experiences among family members through contemporary art as a space for participation, exploration, and collective meaning-making, opening up new possibilities for innovative approaches to learning.
