Art Writing Lab – In Process

The Education Department of #BACC is now accepting applications from individuals interested in contemporary art, writing, and criticism for the project “Art Writing Lab – In Process”, part of the BACC Learning Lab initiative. Limited to only 20 participants!

This training program and workshop serves as a starting point toward EYP#9 x Art Writing Lab, creating an experimental space for exploring the “in process” stages of seeing, reading, thinking, and writing alongside experts. Participants will be encouraged to discover their own “voice” and “position” as writers, with opportunities to further develop and publicly present their work.

Project Advisor and Lead Speaker: Dr. Sayan Daengklom, Lecturer, Department of Art History, Faculty of Archaeology, Silpakorn University

Applications are open from today until 30 June 2026 (**Limited to 20 participants only)
Selected participants will be announced on Friday, 3 July 2026
Workshop Dates: 10–12 July 2026 | 10.30 – 16.00 hrs.
Venue: Multi-Function Room, 1st Floor, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC)

Applicants are required to complete the online registration form and submit the following materials:
– A résumé/CV (maximum 1 page) in PDF
– A Statement of Interest describing your interest in art writing and your expectations for joining the project (maximum 1 A4 page) in PDF
– Two samples of previous or recent writing in PDF (articles or reflective writing related to contemporary art are accepted)

Notes:
– Selected participants must be able to attend the entire program.
– The workshop will be conducted in Thai only.
