MEN KUY : ACT NOW is a performance that emerged from the “MEN KUY” social club, which brought people together to confront and question patriarchy in our daily lives. Now, we escalate the conversation into an outdoor, protest-driven public riot performance taking place in the public space in front of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), which becomes a stage for bodies, voices, and the presence of participants to express themselves directly.

This is not a movement seeking perfectly polished images, but one that reveals discomfort, anger, exhaustion, and the power of refusing submission to oppressive structures.

MEN KUY was a space for participants to meet, exchange experiences, and release what has been suppressed both personally and structurally. Through conversations that do not require order or control, but instead flow with the realities of those present. Now it transforms into a space of assembly and resistance where dialogue manifests into action, and public space is reclaimed as a site for opposing against power.

It insists that our bodies, our voices, and our existence can not be defined by patriarchy, which continues to regulate us and render us invisible.

H0M0HAUS #3 festival is organized with official support from the Contemporary Art Promotion Funds, Ministry of Culture, Office of Contemporary and Culture (OCAC); the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB); Goethe-Institut Thailand; and One Bangkok Art & Culture, alongside support from a wider network of partner organizations.
