“Paint Your Own Torito de Pucará”
Discover the colorful cultural heritage of Peru through a hands-on artistic experience. Join the Embassy of Peru for a special activity where participants will paint their own Torito de Pucará, one of Peru’s most iconic traditional folk art symbols.
Originating from the town of Pucará in the Peruvian Andes, the Torito de Pucará (Little Bull of Pucará) is a colorful ceramic figure traditionally placed on rooftops as a symbol of protection, prosperity, and good fortune. During the activity, participants will learn about the history and cultural significance of this cherished Peruvian tradition while creating their own unique painted Torito to take home.
The activity is open to participants of all ages and artistic levels. All materials will be provided.

Venue: Corner Space, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC)
Session 1: 13:30 – 15:30 hrs
Session 2: 15:30 – 17:30 hrs
