Mapping the Art Market Ecosystem
BACC Education Department, in partnership with Attarak, invites commercial art galleries, art spaces, and art platforms to participate in “Mapping the Art Market Ecosystem,” a closed-session program under EARLY YEARS PROJECT #9 (EYP#9). The session aims to foster dialogue on the structure of Thailand’s contemporary art market ecosystem through the exchange of professional experiences, covering topics such as organisational missions, management practices, collaboration with artists, relationships with audiences and collectors, as well as the challenges currently faced by art organisations.
This program seeks to provide emerging artists and art professionals with a broader understanding of the contemporary art ecosystem, the interconnected roles of its stakeholders, and the opportunities for future collaboration. It also aims to support emerging artists in preparing for meaningful engagement within the contemporary art world while encouraging participating organisations to reflect on how they can collectively contribute to audience development and strengthen Thailand’s contemporary art sector in a sustainable way.
