SPEAK UP เราต้องไม่ยอมจำนน
By Thailand Consumers Councill ( TCC )
When “Silence” Can No Longer Protect Anyone, “Art” Rises to Speak for Every Consumer.
The Thailand Consumers Council (TCC) invites you to “SPEAK UP” an art exhibition that marks a first-of-its-kind expression of consumer advocacy—transforming “voices of complaint” into the power of art.
Through art, the exhibition gives form to the stories, emotions, and real-life impacts of the injustices consumers face every day.
Featuring the works of two artists:
1. Booncherd Khemngoen
An artist who translates four key issues currently being advocated by the Thailand Consumers Council into a series of charcoal storyboard illustrations. His works unravel complex social issues, revealing the roots of injustice and inviting audiences to reflect on two possible paths for society : allowing everything to fade into silence, or choosing to SPEAK UP and refusing to surrender.
2. Jarinee Methikul (Uncle Ple)
An artist who moves between two worlds—the world of television production and social-issue storytelling, and the world of art. For this exhibition, he brings together the voices of more than 150 consumers, drawn from conversations and firsthand accounts of their experiences, emotions, and struggles.
These voices are transformed into works of art, allowing every person who has dared to speak out to become part of the collective power of SPEAK UP
