It may be a private room or a favourite quiet corner in a familiar place.” — The artist creates the work as a space to be with oneself and reflect on past experiences, through the elements of an ordinary home and delicate woodcarving techniques. Traces and textures weathered by time on the wooden surfaces reveal the material’s unique character and charm, while capturing memories and the inherent beauty and natural aesthetics hidden within familiar spaces.
