What Would Your Dream ‘Guardian’ Look Like?

21–22 November 2026! The Education Department, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), in partnership with the Department of Art, Music, and Dance Education, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University and the Bangkok Art Biennale Foundation, invites children aged 6–12 to explore their wishes and dreams and create their very own guardian to protect them!

Join us for the workshop “소원 (Soul Want): My Inner Guardian,” inspired by “The Students, 2026” by Shin Min, an artist participating in the Bangkok Art Biennale 2026 (BAB 2026). In this workshop, children will enjoy a journey of self-discovery and explore BAB 2026 at BACC. Through contemporary art, they will discover endless possibilities, develop their observation skills, and learn to ask questions as they explore the meanings of ‘Angels’ and ‘Mara’ in their own ways. They will then bring their imagination to life by designing and crafting their very own dream guardian using paper and everyday materials!

This workshop is designed by third-year students from the Art Education Learning Resource Management program, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, under the guidance of the BACC Education Department and the featured artist. It provides students with an opportunity to experiment with designing and facilitating exhibition-based learning programmes, bridging classroom knowledge with hands-on experience in an art learning environment.
